Subject	Clearcoat is actually flaking off rims. What to do?

Message	One of my factory polished SSR Integrals is flaking all around the lip. I can see this dirty-yellowish film that's peeling off in areas and I know damn well that's the clearcoat they came with. I had held off on polishing them because it was worth more to leave the clearcoat because it's better protection (even though they would shine even MORE without it). Well, now it's coming off after 20,000 miles. It can't really be redone...so I guess I should just polish them all and keep them well waxed? On a side note I got a nice BIG mark on one side from a rock...put a big jagged ding in it...maybe now a polish is in need.
